Ah yes ~ from last year's Event that was overlooking the Thanksgiving Macy Day Parade in NYC. Wondering how NYC will be This year in light of the political unrest that I hear about. As an Artist, I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to go to such events, and I sincerely hope it will continue. I feel so happy that I can bring Joy with my Caricatures.

I wonder sometimes if do-gooders feel like we have to bring Joy Only to people who are down-on-their-luck. Because I understand and care about All people.

Doing my part to help people during this Corona Virus pandemic. I can draw Caricatures of People and Things that can really Uplift your Spirits. Make you Laugh. Feel Special. Take our minds off the overwhelming Corona Virus situation.

Today I figured that I would draw Caricatures of the same reference photos that I have been using for several days now. I wanted to approach them differently today. Today I planned on doing some really slick line-work. Graceful.

But it turned out that probably the only way I could do that would be to go back to one of my previous drawings, and impose the linework onto that. But which one? Which version to impose the linework onto? I should have just picked one, but I didn't do that. What I did instead was to pay more attention to my Line Quality while coming up with a new Caricature.

It felt like all I ended up doing was slow.....thinking.....?.......or not?....... just dreaming?.....I don't feel like I'm Here. It felt like I was wasting my time. This is what I ended up with. For the first attempt. Not what I set out to do.

Then I didn't like focusing on graceful linework. Since this exercise was not working for that. So I decided to turn my attention to Colors for the 2nd Caricature.

Through all these different Caricature styles that I have been posting for the past few days, I'm still feeling like my First Basic Approach is the best. Maybe because that's what I'm most accustomed to doing.

I hope. I hope I still remember how to do that after all these forays into other styles. I want to feel Happy.

Or the 2nd Style. I'm still back to the same conundrum I always face when I get to Parties. Whether to use My Basic Style or My Exaggerated Style. It is taking a chance ~ like aka one of the Exaggerated Caricatures came out better than the other Exaggerated Caricature. Buy hey ~ if you can't take chances with your Artwork, you're probably plodding through a very dull life.

So I'll go back to drawing whichever one I feel like at Parties ~ taking Guest's Requests into consideration, of course. Drawing Party Caricatures is like a Conversation. Between the Artist and the Guests

I worked on Technology again tonight. I actually Drew this Caricature at an Event a couple of weeks ago. At a Bowling Alley.

Using my New program ~ It still took me 2 hours to put together this Caricature with this Reference photo. But it felt much more intuitive than last night. Especially at the beginning of this project.
